Designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, the red London telephone box is now one of London’s most iconic sights.

If you look closely there are in fact 8 different styles of phone box labeled K1 to K8. If you go to Smithfields you will see an example of two different styles next to each other.

Covent Garden (just opposite the Opera House) is a good place to go – as it has a row of 5 telephone boxes.

If you are in Smithfields – check out the phone boxes by Barts hospital. They were next to Sherlocks “death jump” in the Reichenbach Falls and are now a shrine to him.

Head to Bank (behind the main Prudential building) for these branded boxes in aid of the NSPCC.
